Martin talks about the signing into law Tuesday of his HB 5772, which will stabilize the funding for secondary road patrols by dedicating a portion of liquor taxes already collected by the state to the road patrol program. Rep. Martin says secondary road patrols are a significant asset in protecting rural Michigan residents. The program had been funded by a surcharge on traffic tickets.
